I welcome each of you to 2013, The year of CHANGE!
It has been long overdue that someone took the lead against the ever growing fight to combat, and control the spread of HIV/AIDS in our community. Nothing about this fight has been easy, nor is it supposed to be, but it MUST BE DONE!!! And with that said, I need your help to do the impossible (1 person said)… Change the thoughts, and behaviors of our peers as it relates to how and whom we have sex.
“SAFETY is our motto, PROTECTION is the key”!!! I hope that our time together will foster great inspiration, an ability to lead, and grow, and empower a community to “Be Different”. I know you can, and I know WE CAN, TOGETHER… Welcome aboard!!!
Let’s get started:
You have personally been selected to take part in this new and exciting venture to help mobilize, educate, and empower your peers, friends, and social groups about safer sex, friendship, and HIV Testing. Our mission is to reduce the number of infections in our community, and I truly believe with YOUR help, we can achieve this goal, TOGETHER!!!
When:
Join us on Wednesday evenings from 6:30pm to 9:30pm (Weekly) @ AIDS Resource Center Ohio (15 w. 4th St. Suite #200) for an introduction to the Mpowerment Project (Dayton African American Males) and a brief overview of how the program has been created to run. Bring your ideas, and energy to help create an environment of learning and understanding.
Light refreshments are ALWAYS served!!!
